I love this quote because it's so true, friends really do just come in and out of our lives.

I also love the film it is from, Stand By Me, A LOT.

30 Day Challenge Of Happiness.

Day 1 - A Picture of you smiling.

      This is one of the only pictures of me where I am actually smiling, I think... 

I find that quite shocking.

I'm not a miserable person, I'm just not photogenic and can't really smile for a camera.

Usually when I try smiling when someone takes a picture I end up laughing and look like a psycho in the photo.

But I am usually actually a really happy person :)

Today I watched Lucas, it made me realize so much!

At school there is ALWAYS the weird kids. You can't think I'm mean for saying it because everyone knows it's true.

Maybe it's not always that they're weird, they're just different so everyone just judges them.

Everybody deserves a chance and you shouldn't just judge somebody because they are different to you.

This film made me cry so much, I felt so sorry for Lucas. It was horrible.

Everyone sees kids like this at school, getting bullied and stuff, yet they don't do anything about it.

I've always seen it but never joined in, but never really done much to stop it, apart from a few times. You never know, something bad could happen to these people like it did to Lucas when he ended up in hospital.

I wish I had a friend like Lucas. He might be different, but he is so nice and cared so much about Maggie. 

I guess people need to learn not to judge people before getting to know them.

You can't judge somebody when you don't know them or what their life is like.

You might think you know somebody, but you don't, because a lot of people pretend to be somebody they're not just to fit in.

Maggie: Where are you going?

Lucas: Hey, I'm a party animal.

I think everybody should see this film to really understand...

Recently I have learnt that you should always be yourself. I used to act like I'm somebody I'm not because I get worried about what people think. I'm slowly becoming myself around my friends and it's so much better than hiding.

I love River Phoenix and Corey Haim, I still can't believe that they died. From when I was young they were both always my favorite actors. I don't care about hiding it, they have both kind of made me who I am. Because of them they've helped me believe I can achieve my dreams, I also want to be an actress. River Phoenix made me realize that killing animals to eat them is wrong and I am now a vegetarian and I love it.

I want to be myself around everyone. I act confident when really, I'm kind of shy. I fake a smile when I want to cry. I obsess over things easily, I get too into movies and books and end up feeling like I know the characters. I hate finishing really good books I've been reading, it sounds stupid but it always feels like I've lost a friend or something...

I'm not an open person with my friends, you'd think I would be because they're my friends. I'm just not. I can't really tell people anything because I've been let down so much, I don't know who to trust.

When I'm upset I cheer myself up by watching either Stand By Me or Dream A Little Dream. My two favorite films ♥

I get jealous easily, the smallest things annoy me and I always say things/do before I've thought it through. I'm far from perfect, but I guess I am okay with it.. because that's just me.

Day 12 - Which celebrity would you like to meet? 

Celebrities who have passed away or celebrities who are still alive? There's actually quite a lot of celebrities I want to meet.

I wish I could have met River Phoenix and Corey Haim before they passed away. They were both such amazing actors with great personalities. Something about them both seemed so different to every other celebrity. I really hope someday there will be some kind of time traveler, I would definitely want to go back in time and meet them both and try and help stop them dying ♥ 

This is also one of the only younger pictures I've seen of Corey where he has his mouth closed :P

I would also love to meet Justin Bieber and Leonardo Dicaprio. Leonardo Dicaprio is my favourite actor that is still alive, and I just love what he does. Justin Bieber is my all time favourite singer, I love his voice and his personality. It would just be amazing to meet them both. ♥

Day 11 - The celebrity you dream of.

There isn't really a certain celebrity I dream of. I have had so many dreams with celebrities in...

Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, River Phoenix, Justin Bieber, all of MCR, all of 30STM. I've had celebrities I really don't like in my dreams too. They're just dreams, can't control them, so there isn't really a certain celebrity I dream of. The cast of Stand By Me has even been in some of my dreams, not as themselves, but as their characters.

These are also reasons I love dreaming. ♥

Day 10 - The ugliest celebrity in earth for you.

None. I don't know any. As low as it sounds, if there is a celebrity that is really THAT ugly, I don't pay any attention to them. I mainly watch films with my favorite actors in and I don't know male singers that are UGLY. There isn't really any, I don't know names either. The person who plays Napoleon in Napoleon Dynamite is pretty weird looking though and there is a boy in Cheaper By The Dozen (I think) that just makes me feel kind of ill. But yeah, don't really know any.

Day 8 - Zac Efron or Alex Gaskarth; why?

Zac Efron! No doubt about it:) Probably partly because I don't have a clue who Alex Gaskarth is, I don't think I've ever seen him in anything... Wait, is he even an actor? What is he?

Anyway, it has to be Zac Efron. I've loved him always. I love his acting, his voice, his eyes, just everything. He really does just have the most beautiful eyes, I don't know how anyone can resist him.

Day 7 - Taylor Lautner or Robert Pattinson; why? 

None. Neither. Just, argh. I am team NEITHER. Taylor Lautner reminds me of a boy at my school who is so annoying! I swear they look so alike! I just don't see what everyone else sees in Taylor Lautner.

And Robert Pattinson? There is something really weird about him, there are only two things I like about him, his acting, and he did a photoshoot based on River Phoenix.

This is way too hard! Sexiest man? Well, Justin Bieber doesn't count as a man haha, so it's between two, Jared Leto and Zac Efron. They are both just... wow! Not even kidding!

He is beautiful. Wow his body ;) So many of my friends don't like him and think he's ugly, yeah I know that's their opinion I just don't get HOW they can say that?! :| He's 39, 24 years older than me, but I could not care less. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. ♥

Zac Efron! ♥

I've loved Zac Efron since I first saw him on HSM :) I don't know how someone can say he isn't sexy? Yeah, look above. You see that? That's sexy! I usually hate boys/men with armpit hair, such a cringe, but he is one of the only people who can have it and still look gorgeous! ♥

Day 4 - The celebrity guy you can’t stand and why?

DEVLIN!!!!!

He drives me crazy! I cannot stand him! I wouldn't really call him a 'celebrity' but he has got his fame in the UK. I just cannot see why anyone would like him.  He seems like such a big-headed arrogant wanna-be. I can't stand people like that, not anyone. I dislike him so much I don't even want to put a picture of him up. I don't even know how he got his fame, or how he even released any songs. His voice is so annoying and I see no talent whatsoever. He just always seems to have that evil look on his face too, like when you're young and at school, there is always that one boy with behavior problems who is just a complete bully. They all have that same look in their eyes. That is exactly what Devlin has. And what is up with that name?! It's not even a name. It just makes him sound like a devil, which kind of works cause he does look evil.

I could go on forever about how much he annoys me, but I'm getting kind of wound up just talking about him.

Day 3 - Male fashion icon, and reasons why you like his style.

I don't really understand the 'male fashion icon' part of this. But, a male celebrity who has good style, hmm... There's a few, but i'll have to say Justin Bieber. If more people dressed like that I'd be in heaven. You cannot lie, he wears the coolest shoes ever! I love Supras :) I don't really know what to say, I just love his style. And basically everything else about him too...

Day 2 - Your favourite singer and your favourite song of him.

This was one of the EASIEST things ever. Justin Bieber. I love everything about it, all his fans complain a lot about how he is changing, but yeah ofcourse he is, he is growing up. I love how he went from being a kid living with his mum with no money, just doing what he loves to do, to being this huge celebrity. It's too hard for me to pick a favourite song by him, I love all of them! One of my favourites is 'Down To Earth', mainly because I spose I can relate to it, cause my parents broke up when I was a baby and I never see my dad. There aren't many songs that make me emotional, but his do.

 I know everyone has different taste in music and stuff, but I don't get how they can say he can't sing... I just don't get it. To me he is amazing. He sings exactly what girls want to her and I love it! ♥

Day One - A picture of your favourite actor and reasons why you like him.

Ok, it's so hard for me to choose between these two, so so hard. So I had to do them both :)

I've loved River Phoenix as long as I can remember. He's been my favourite actor since I first ever saw him in Stand By Me. I love every film I've seen him in, there isn't one that I don't like, although I haven't seen them all yet because then there will be nothing left... Like when you open all your presents early on Christmas day and have nothing to look forward to?
But anyway, the first time I saw him in Stand By Me I loved him and I still do now. He was completely different to every other celebrity too. He didn't take advantage of the fame, he used it to try and help make the world a better place and he stood up for what he believed in.
Even though River died two years before I was born, it feels like I will always miss him. Rest In Peace River Jude Phoenix ♥

Corey Haim

I found Corey Haim later on after finding River Phoenix and straight away I loved him. Just like with River, I haven't seen every film with him in, but the ones I have, I love. Every character he has played just had some loveable charm to them, just like his real life self. Films with him and Corey Feldman in would always make me smile on my worst days when I was younger and they still do now. I don't know why, they don't even have to say something funny, I just sit there smiling. Corey was just a young boy persevering in his dream and just going with the flow, that's what I loved.
I cried last year when I found out he passed away, so much! I don't care if I didn't know him I will always miss him.
